Red Snapper season in Pensacola is back! Everyone’s favorite reef fish, the Atlantic Red Snapper, are available for harvest in Florida gulf state waters (up to 9 miles offshore) on specific dates in 2026.
The first leg of the red snapper season begins Friday May 22nd and runs daily through Friday July 31st. The second leg begins Tuesday September 1st and runs daily through Sunday October 4th. After that, red snapper season is open on weekends only for the rest of 2026 with additional days around the holidays.
